This year (2021) we have two specific types of session available

Christmas at Magic Alley for children aged 4 and over

This session is aimed at children aged 4 and over and includes elements of basic reading and puzzle solving. Presents are age appropriate (in light of customer feedback) and as a result you will be asked to provide the age of your child/children upon booking.

In this session children under 4 are only permitted entry as part of a family group including older children.


Christmas at Magic Alley for children under 4

This session is targeted at younger children and includes a Christmas quest which is age appropriate. Children will receive a gift suitable for younger children. Please note adults do not receive a gift in these sessions.

Refunds, Exchanges and Resale


We do advise the purchase of Refund Protection (provided by Booking Protect) which offers protection in specific circumstances. Their terms and conditions can be found here


In general tickets are non-refundable or transferable save in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the management. These exceptions are in addition to any offered by Booking Protect if that is purchased at the time of booking

If you book for more than one household in Spring 2021 and subsequent restrictions do not permit household mixing then the additional tickets purchased will not be refunded as you are asked not to book for multiple households. If restrictions permit potentially additional tickets may be purchased on the door by contacting out Head of Events at least 48 hours in advance.


Exceptional circumstances include, but are not limited to

  • If the event if not permitted to go ahead by the government
  • Testing positive for Covid-19 (subject to providing evidence of a positive test)



Tickets may be exchanged up to 48 hours before the event. All exchanges are dealt with by Ticketsource directly. Ticketsource can be contacted on 029 2071 3205 or emailed on All exchanges will require you to purchase the new tickets subject to availability before being refunded for the original ticket purchase price less £1 admin fee.


Resale and Subsequent Refund

In certain circumstances (where tickets would otherwise be non-refundable) provided we are given 48 hours notice in writing to we will endeavour to resell your tickets if you can no longer attend. If they resell then you will be issued with a refund.


This applies to the following circumstances (not an exhaustive list)

  • The event is permitted to go ahead but you are prevented from travelling to the venue as a result of a government restriction.
  • A member of the party is unwell
  • You or a member of your party is required to isolate as a result of being contacted by Track and Trace or as a result of isolation imposed by a place of work or education.


This does NOT include (not an exhaustive list)

  • Changing your mind
  • Isolating by choice
  • Government mandated quarantine after returning from abroad.


General Terms and Conditions

There are no customer toilets available on site


Pushchairs/prams cannot be accommodated on the shop floor. If they are brought to the venue they will have to be left downstairs at the owner’s risk.


If you arrive late admittance cannot be guaranteed. Please arrive 5 minutes before your allocated time. Anyone more than 15 minutes late will not be permitted entry.


If required in December 2021 Covid safety measures will be in place and visitor temperatures will be taken. Anyone with a high temperature of 38 degrees or higher will not be permitted entry.
